【楽しい食卓への思いが込められた食器】
1974年創業のでく工房は、障害のある方や高齢の方向けの姿勢保持装置やオリジナル製品を販売しています。「すくい易い食器」は、器のフチが内側に傾斜しており、器の底も広く安定しているので、スプーンで自然にすくうことができます。「みんなに楽しく食事をしてもらいたい」という思いから、有田焼の窯元に依頼し開発されたこの食器は、小さい子供からお年寄り、病気やハンディキャップのある方まで、様々な方に使いやすいデザインの器です。

Founded in 1974, Deku kobo sells postural support devices and original products for people with disabilities and the elderly. Their "Easy-to-scoop tableware" features an inward-sloping rim and a wide, stable base, allowing food to be scooped naturally with a spoon. Developed in collaboration with a kiln in Arita with the wish that "everyone can enjoy their meals," this tableware is designed to be easy to use for a wide range of people—from small children to seniors, including those who are ill or living with disabilities.
