Access to Oshima
There are two ways to reach Oshima: by sea and by air.
By ship, it takes 1 hour and 45 minutes from Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal by Tokai Kisen high-speed jet ferry, or 8 hours by the large passenger ship.
By air, it takes 25 minutes from Chofu Aerodrome by a 19-seat propeller plane.Tokyo Takeshiba Passenger Ship Terminal, Chofu Aerodrome, two ports of Oshima(Okata Port and Motomachi Port), the passenger waiting room, and Oshima Airport are all barrier-free.
The model course presented on this website is based on a plan using Tokai Kisen high-speed jet ferry, but you can also use the large passenger ship or New Central Airservice.

Exit through the Yurikamome Takeshiba Station gate on the right and take the elevator on the left side (marked “1B” at the station).

Accessibility Information
There are no steps at the entrance or inside the facility, and Braille blocks are laid out along the main flow lines both outdoors and indoors. There are two private rooms in the nursing room, and a water heater is provided for baby formula. There is a lifting device for boarding the high-speed jet ferry.
Indoor wheelchair-accessible restroom Restroom Information
There are two wheelchair-accessible restrooms, one outdoors and one indoors. The indoor restroom is separated for men and women and has multipurpose seats.

If you use New Central Air service, you will arrive at Tokyo Oshima Camellia Airport.
Tokyo Oshima Camellia Airport
Oshima Airport is the gateway to the sky between Motomachi in the western part of Oshima and Okada in the northern part. The terminal building has airport company counters and vending machines on the 1st floor, restaurants and stores on the 2nd floor, and an observation deck on the 3rd floor.
Accessibility Information
There are no steps at the entrances of the facility or inside the facility, and Braille blocks are laid out along the main flow lines both outdoors and indoors. An attendant will assist passengers in getting on and off the airplane. Advance notice is required.

There is one wheelchair-accessible restroom on each of the 1st and 2nd floors.

Traffic
Transportation on the island includes intra-island buses (local buses), taxis, rental cars, rental motorbikes, and rental bicycles.
Non-step and one-step buses also operate on the island.
Only one taxi company has a barrier-free vehicle. The others only have general-purpose vehicles.
There are several car rental companies, and pick-up and drop-off services are available.

Oshima Bus (Island Buses)
The "Oshima Park Line" connects Motomachi Port, Okata Port, and Oshima Park; the "Habu Port Line" connects Motomachi to the strata section, Habu Port, etc.; and the "Mt. Mihara Line" connects Motomachi Port and Okata Port to the entrance to the top of Mt. Mihara. Mihara Line is less frequent, but the Oshima Park Line and Habu Port Line run about once an hour. Accessible vehicles such as non-step vehicles are also available.
The bus schedule is determined the evening before the day of use.

Hana Kotsu Taxi
