One of the metropolis's 11 inhabited islands and a member of the Izu Archipelago, Hachijojima Island is an hour from mainland Tokyo. This course takes you right across its northern half. Its 19.1 km or so thoroughly showcase what a wonderful island Hachijojima is, with Nambara Senjoiwa Coast, Okoshi Aloe Garden, and Nagatomo Road among the many highlights you'll see. The tropical scenery is out of this world!

Ookataura Park
Located on the beautiful coastline of Hachijojima Island, this park features a vast grassy area facing the Pacific Ocean. The spacious grounds include a barbecue area and playground equipment, making it an ideal spot for families. The sunsets are especially beautiful, and treat visitors to magnificent views. There are also diving spots nearby, so visitors can enjoy marine activities, too.

The statue of UkitaHideie and Gouhime
This is an important monument with a background rooted in the history of Hachijojima Island. It marks the place that Lord Hideie was exiled to after his defeat in the Battle of Sekigahara, and symbolizes the deep love between him and his wife, Gohime. The statue gazes toward his homeland of Okayama, and is a moving sight for visitors.

Nanbarasenjyouiwa Goast
The west coast of Hachijojima Island features a unique landscape formed by lava. A vast rock formation 100 meters wide and 500 meters long offers a panoramic view of the beautiful ocean and Hachijo-Kojima Island. Shaped by the power of nature, this place is an ideal spot for hiking and taking photos.
Nanbara Sports Park
This multi-purpose sports facility on Hachijojima Island offers a variety of activities, soccer and tennis to name just two. Its spacious grounds and rich range of facilities are used by locals and tourists alike. The park also has playground equipment, so it is a popular spot for families as well.
Ookioshi aroe Park

Nagatomo Road
This road is known for being a training route used by Japanese national soccer team player Yuto Nagatomo.
